Finally saw The Devil Wears Prada. It was long overdue, I must admit, with Meryl Streep being inconceivably aggressive through being aloof and absolutely amazing in her role. The projection of her life through Andreas development (and by extension the reasons why her character was the way it was)was not exactly ground-breaking, but was in its way original. I genuinely cannot decide whether I loved or hated her character. I certainly sympathised with her, however. She is a dead ringer of what happens to a human being when love is sucked out of her by her job. And now to the important stuff: I loooooved the shoes, most of the outfits, the flair of fashion when its born and I was shamelessly green with envy when Andrea gave the Michael Kors to her best friend. (Couldnt resist, sorry!)
