Finally watching the PovertyCure DVDs and wishing Id done so when they first came out in 2012. They are outstanding and feature the best international development and anti-poverty experts like Hernando de Soto, Paul Collier, Muhammad Yunus, Michael Novak, and others. The series is packed with local stories and interviews with local people whove shown in practice what works. Its brilliant and must-see for those who really want to help the poor of the world release their creative, entrepreneurial energy in ways that can end poverty for the bottom billion. Justice for the poor requires, not redistributing income but extending the rights of private property and the rule of law to the 2/3 of the globe where they are denied to poor people, trapping them in poverty.
