Find inspiration everywhere!! Today I connected with a woman who is 55 years old. She said when she was 18 her guidance counselor told her she wasnt smart enough to go to college, she should get married and have babies. She did just that, married an engineer and had 3 children. She doesnt regret her life at all and loves her husband and children but now at 55 is about to graduate from college with a degree in journalism and a 3.8 GPA and such pride in her writing (that truly happens to be amazing). Its absolutely inspiring to listen to her talk about her historical fiction that she likes to write. I learned so much about the history of Groveland that I did not know. Moral of my interaction, ordinary people do great things everyday. It may not make the cover of People magazine or earn them the big bucks or even be everyones ideal but when you meet someone who is proud of their accomplishments (not boastful or arrogant but truly proud) its inspiring. Find inspiration everywhere. Someone may convince you that you are not able to accomplish something, you may even begin to convince yourself. But at the end of every day it is you vs. you. What do YOU want to accomplish in YOUR LIFE? What are YOUR GOALS? No matter what a boss, guidance counselor, parent or whoever tell you, YOU always have the final say. So at the end of the day when you hold yourself accountable you will be able to be honest with your progress and the effort you have put in. You can take responsibility for that! What have you done today that you feel proud about? Clients especially, what have YOU done today that is in LINE with your goals? ~Define Who You Want To Be
