Fiona was as sweet as they come, a huge supporter and mentor of many of the communities I have wandered in and out of over the course of my life. Fiona had a way of not only making you feel beautiful, but making your choices feel beautiful. She put me at ease, reminded me that being strange was not a box and encouraged me to take myself outside of my comfort zone. I have lived a larger, less fearful life through her advice. We had only actually been in the same room on a few dozen occasions but every time I was met with enthusiasm and kindness that is rare among human beings. She attended and/or supported every event I have put my name on and never asked anything more of me than to be a friend and support her in turn. If there is a heaven, Fiona has certainly made superstars out of her fellow angels. We are all more impressive individuals for having known her.
