“Fire…!” In a Crowded Theatre We’ve all come to know and understand it… you don’t yell “Fire!” in a crowded theater. It has become an expected norm given the state of total hysteria that is likely to ensue as a result. But recent events have put so many of us on panic alert and now everybody’s sense of alarm has been heightened. And with word seemingly almost daily of another unarmed black man being killed by police; you have to understand that some are starting to question all the old accepted social mores. And of course there is an exception to the ‘Yell-Fire’ rule— and that is it is inevitable, and indeed expected— if you are at war. “there will always be those most willing to offend My only admonition— don’t let them win…” -M.
