Fire fighter written assessment done. I feel it went well but I wont find out the results until the end of next week. Just for the sake of it & for those interested in the process, the test consisted of 3 papers, the first was about retaining information, it was 25 questions & I had 30 minutes to complete it. I think only one person out of 25 of us actually completed all the questions(I had one left to answer), It involved reading a paragraph of information & then answering questions on it. Paper number 2 was about situational awareness, basically how we would personally respond to certain scenarios, we were described a situation & given 4 possible answers, we had 30 questions & were given 35 minutes to complete it. The last paper was on maths, 40 questions & we had 45 minutes to complete it, it was all based on graphs, gauges & Statistical information. My verdict, I started off shit, then got into it & I feel I nailed the maths one without a single fault, will find out soon enough. It was substantially harder than the first on the scene medical test I took the other week. :op
