First Bank has committed to participating in the American Heart Associations Denver Heart Walk every year. Because heart disease is the number one killer of all Americans, and affects the lives of so many of our employees, we have made this initiative a priority. Our fundraising goal of this year is $20,000. All you need to do is joining our team as a fundraising walker and making a personal donation. You can also participate by asking friends and family for donations to help us reach our goal that will assist the American Heart Association in fighting heart disease and stroke. The earlier we sign up, the sooner we can help raise funds. Of course, the value as members isn’t just measured in the funds you helped raise. I believe the true value of our shared effort was reflected in the faces of people who walked to remember a loved one, who committed to living a healthier lifestyle that day, and who stepped up their commitment to build a better community.
