First I want to thank all of you for your kind messages. Im sorry if there was any confusion. A lot of you know that my Mother has not been well since her heart surgery in April 2013 and I think an earlier post made by TeamJDM caused some confusion. I had to cancel tonights show in Nashville because my Mothers sister, my Auntie Theresa, had passed away unexpectedly. For those of you who have been in fan club or have followed me for a while, you would know my Aunt and have memories of her. She and my Mother were super close. They used to attend fan club parties. My Mother and Aunt ran my fan club together for a few years. I am currently on a plane to Boston for services this afternoon and tomorrow morning. My Aunt and her family are very precious to me. I felt I needed to be there for them, for her and for me. I dont expect today to be an easy one. I tried to get my mother to come along. It would have been a lot of work seeing as she would need assistance every step of the way, but, my brother offered to help fly her up for the services if she wanted to go. She was scared to attempt the trip. My Mother is extremely fragile and the travel would have been tough on her. I am carrying, in my bag, a photo of my Mother and my Aunt that was taken on my front steps when Auntie lived in Nashville. That way my Mother will be there in some way. Thank you all again for your comments. You are very special to me. Your support, your loyalty and your love. Please know I appreciate you very much.
