First day at the new school on Friday went great! Boys and I are very excited to embark on our time at Candlenut Steiner, Kuranda, soon to be changed to Cairns Hinterland Steiner. These guys have got it right when it comes to kids and education of the whole person. Arts, music, language, woodwork, gardening and cooking are subjects from kindy and are as equally valued as academics. No testing, just individual development in a natural environment where kids are free to explore the rainforest and even climb trees!
