First, let me address some comments from yesterday that may have been misunderstood or misinterpreted. The Jackson State baseball team has shown phenomenal strength and perseverance during the past few weeks. Our student-athletes have overcome the loss of equipment and personal items. We are tremendously grateful for the prayers and support from our JSU family, Ole Miss, Mississippi State University and all of our respected opponents and affiliates. Our recent win over the University of Louisiana at Lafayette shows the resilience of our players and the unifying spirit of baseball. We are simply grateful.
