Karachi, July 10, 2013: PPP Patron-in-Chief, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has strongly condemned the attack on PPP leader and Security Officer of Bilawal House Bilal Sheikh, which resulted into the loss of several human lives while injuring others. PPP leader Bilal Sheikh among three people martyred in a blast targeting a double cabin vehicle in the Gurumandir area of the city today. While expressing profound grief and shock over the incident, he said that anti-democratic and extremist mindset was behind such barbaric act of terrorism, which needs to be stopped with firmness and unity. "We will not be intimidated by such cowardly acts and such acts will not deter our resolve to fight terrorism," he added. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid rich tributes to Bilal Sheikh for his struggle in the restoration of democracy. He sympathized with the bereaved families and prayed Almighty to bless the departed souls with peace and courage for the affected families to bear this loss with fortitude. He also demanded of the authorities concerned to provide best medical treatment to those injured in the blast.
