First of all, I dont accept the notion that all Muslims supports terrorism and killing of innocent people. Reason is that I have good Muslim friends, and by dealing with them, I can safely say that majority are peaceful. HOWEVER, having said that, it is appalling when some Muslims keeps propagating preposterous and absurd ideas on the identities of perpetrators of terrorism around the world. We saw these ridiculous ideas after terrorist attack of Sept 11 2001 on USA. Some Muslims propped some crazy fallacies that USA intentionally planed and caused the plane attack on twin towers of World Trade Center, killing about 3,000 people,,,, (hear them),,,so that USA will have an excuse to attack Muslims countries. What a preposterous and stupid fallacy. America do not need to kill about 3000 of her citizens if they want to bomb any Muslim country. If USA wants, they can bomb any of these countries to hell!! Same stupid conspiracy theory is now being propagated by some clueless and irresponsible Northerners about the ongoing Boko-Haram senseless killing in the North. Instead of speaking to their brothers, sisters and fellow Muslims, whom are behind these massacre, some Northerners now devote their energy in propagating the stupid idea that Jonathan (and in some cases, Igbos) are behind the killings. These is irresponsibility to the highest order. There was a post few days ago, where someone named SOME so-called Christians, caught with guns, or bomb-making materials in the North, using them to support their conspiracy propaganda. The only reason why they believe the persons are a Christians is because, according to the writer, the persons are from part of the country with Christian majority. But, when have someones ethnicity become the ONLY yardstick to know his/her religion? There are many Southerners that are Muslims. There are also many Northerners that are Christians. An example is daughter of a Pastor of Igbo descent, based in the North, whom was widely publicized last year, to have converted to Islam. The news was celebrated by Muslims. So, if that girl commit a terrorist act, will Muslims still blame others, or, will they focus on the fact that, though not all Muslims are terrorists, most terrorists are Muslims? It is time that Northerners rise up to their responsibility, and do all they can to fight terrorists and their crazy ideas. Fight against terrorism cannot be won by only bombing and killing of terrorists by the military. Reason is that terrorists are brainwashed and they base their actions on crazy ideologies. So, such ideologies and brainwashing can only be cured through better ideology. The only people in better position to administer these ideology cure are their sane Muslims brothers and sisters, whom are close to them geographically. If Muslims keep wasting their time on the preposterous and ridiculous propaganda and illogical conspiracy theories on who are behind these terrorism and killings, the result will be disastrous, mainly, against Northerners. The fact is that majority of victims of these terrorists around the world, and in Nigeria, are Muslims. It is only a mad person that will be chasing a rat, while his house is being consumed by fire. Buck-passing and abdicating of responsibility by some Northerners is senseless. The North and Muslims should do the right thing now!!! They should understand that terrorists are our common enemy. The situation in North is taking them backwards to 50 years ago. It is increasing massive poverty in the North. A stitch in time, saves nine!!
