First off, thank you Michael Packer and the Chicago Blues Hall of Fame for the tremendous honor of my induction this past Sunday. It was made sweeter not only by basking in the radiance of my heroes Howlin Wolf and Koko Taylor, but by being able to share the honor with my friends , Blues Goddesses HolleThee Maxwell and Nellie Travis and Linda Cain. And thank you Roll-Lynn and Tumb-Lynn Orman Weiss for elevating my book, my work and my amazing partner Derrick Procell every day. And, as always, it was great just to be there in the same room with Cookie Taylor and Bettye Kelly, as well as legends Lonnie Brooks, Wayne Baker Brooks and Ronnie Baker Brooks - thanks Ronnie for the good words.
