First off we would like to thank The AFGE team for this weeks pro union push. Eugene, Stella, Terri and Buzz you guys are the epitome of how one should conduct themselves during a campaign situation and we certainly appreciate all the support. As I understand, Dave Slayer from the Oregon VA Office actually had some conversions today! There have been many to convert to our side so far with many more to come. We are extremely excited about where we are so far. This is what happens when THE TRUTH is brought to light! With that being said, it is perfectly acceptable to disagree or have a difference in opinion but it should be done in a respectful manner. It is NOT acceptable behavior to be rude or offensive. There are several things you may have failed to realize. 1) The AFGE personnel circulating our office are not just representatives. They are actually the AFGE reorganization team, they have done this many times before. There is nothing you can do or say that they have not seen or heard before. In my opinion they have conducted themselves with grace and dignity in situations that have not always called for such behavior. 2) Surely by now some are finding that union roots run extremely deep. Our numbers are growing everyday. We may have started out quiet but we will finish LOUD! 3) Some have spent so much time fighting the inevitable and screaming so loudly to prove their loyalty that they may have overlooked one important fact. WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN WE WIN? WHAT WILL YOU DO WHEN YOUR ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE LOOKING GLASS?
