First, there have been loads of studies that show that vaccines dont cause autism. We dont yet know what does cause autism, but we do know that vaccines arent it. But for those who believe they do, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, using that as a reason not to vaccinate is deeply offensive to me. What you are saying is that you would rather risk your child dying from a vaccine preventable disease than risk them developing autism. Essentially, you are asserting that death is preferable to autism. I can tell you, I would much rather have my smart, funny, happy, healthy, autistic children than sick or dead neurotypical children. I assure you, they would NOT be better off dead.
