First they gassed in WWI, and I did not speak out— because I was not a soldier there; Then they gassed the Jews, and I did not speak out— because I was not a Jew; Then they used the atom bomb, and I did not speak out— because it was my government doing the bombing; Then they napalmed the Viet Namese and gassed US soldiers, and I did not speak out—because I was not one of either of them; Then they gassed the Kurds, and I did not speak out because no one cared about them; Then they used chemicals against the Syrian people, and I did not speak out or want my government to do the right thing; Then they came to gas me—and why should anyone speak out for me?
