First time roping a bull calf today. Had a long long day dealing with his momma who broke out and was found two pastures away walking the road. We soo need a good roping horse. Finally got the cow moved into a pasture and tried moving the calf with her. He wasnt very willing. Let me say it like this, chasing a calf with a laso on foot is tough. Somehow we finally caught him and it took the two of us to put him down to tie him up. As soon as i jumped on him, i got a himd foot right in the liver. Got me pretty good. Anyhow, he was whooped just as much as this fat boy, and he is now with his momma. Now.... About that roping horse....... Raegan Schmidt Hyde Nicole Thornton
