Five Mondays ago, I received a toast from my mentor and former boss. Make five wishes. Goals if you like. To be done in your next seven birthdays. Write about those, whether in social media, a blog or a notebook, every five weeks until the deadline so 1. You will remember and 2. You might stumble into an ally who will help you achieve them. So here goes: 1. I am very good at what I do but I am not happy as a quant. I am more of a marketing guy. Not the glam and glitter type but more like doing the entrepreneurial stuff. Building businesses, selling ideas and making things happen. So my first wish is to take postgraduate studies in Marketing and make a career shift. 2. Learn to speak and write French, Chinese and German. 3. Get back my muay-thai fighting body sans the fractures and injuries. 4. My mom has always been passionate about cooking. I will help put up her culinary business and make it sail. 5. Find my wife, make us some kids and live happily ever after.
