Local indigenous guides who really care and know every inch of the islands teamed with the best creek and blue water options once agin delivered amazing fishing. Where can you catch 18 Barra in a morning plus 2 Threadies over 1metre plus come home to a cold beer, sashimi entree, baked whole asian style barramundi and the best Thai fish curry I have ever tasted not to mention the mud crabs cooked on the beach for lunch. The best fishing less than 30 minutes from Darwin and easily the best fishing lodge on Melville Island. Stayed October 2014, travelled with friends at Clearwater Island Lodge.
