Flickr Update: The Journey Back So with the day at Oakwood over and done with, it was time to come back on the Thursday (I had work on the Friday) but in true to me style, there was a couple of diversions First was Stackpole Estate - flickr/photos/coastermadmatt/sets/72157629703816862 Of the actual mansion, there is not a lot left of this, but the area is huge and today is a draw on the lily ponds and the beach not located too far away. I actually did visit here last year but it was quite rainy and damp so this time, it was a slightly clear day (to begin with) I managed to get a few snaps of the place without fear of rain. The updated photos are from "Lily Pads on the Lily Ponds" until "The Lily Ponds" Second and last visit of the day was Carreg Cennen Castle - flickr/photos/coastermadmatt/sets/72157635290277765/ Located within the Brecon Beacons, this castle is something special. Not only does it look like your typical castle (high above the landscape on top of a hill) but it also features a natural limestone cave underneath. The cave itself is unlit so you either have to bring a torch or carry one down. But it certainly is worth it! Especially if your lucky enough to go in on your own it makes you feel more like a proper explorer!
