Flickr has become my number one place for posting my images mainly because I think its stupid that Facebook wants me to pay extra for those whove already liked my page to see my postings. So for the past couple years, Ive made a solid effort to post on Flickr, and Ive made their Explore page 19 times. Its pretty cool for getting a lot of exposure with images, and Ill usually get about 100 times the views on an image that makes Explore versus one that doesnt. Ive also been trying to figure out the science behind Flickrs algorithm for the Explore page, and it seems that once someone makes the Explore page it is opened up to them for 10-14 days and then closed to them for 60. If thats the case, I think it should open up for me again very soon.
