Florida parrot rescue BIRDIE BREAD! I was being supervised by numerous birds, as well, lol! For this batch I used: 1 cup each of oat flour, rice flour, and buckwheat flour (you dont have to use all three, you can use just one for your base - just make sure to stay away from white flour or corn meal mixes) 1 cup of harrisons fine pellets 1 package each of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, & black berries, & 2 bananas (pureed) 6 small sweet potatoes cooked and then pureed 1 can of organic pumpkin (32 oz) 3 tablespoons of almond butter 1/4 cup herb salad by Twin beaks aviary (you dont have to use this) 1 large bag of green, yellow, red, & orange habanero peppers I also add unsalted, human grade almonds on the top before cooking. Once cooked I cut into daily portions for my flock and then freeze - my birds each get a helping of bird bread every day. Cooking time depends on how thick you pour it in the pan. I cook at 350 degrees. You can find more recipes on our website at: floridaparrotrescue/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Guide-to-Making-Bird-Bread-for-Parrots.pdf
