Florissant scanner as of 1 hour ago- since silent- Strip mall on fire, Advanced Auto Parts taken over, Auto Zone smashed windows, Quick Trip has been gutted (now burnt to ground), advising officers to hold back for teams, take over at McDonalds, Strip Malls/Restaurants on fire firefighters unable to address due to riots, shots fired, officer injured, explosions, officer beaten, shots at Wal-Mart, Shoe Carnival looted, a woman in labor stuck in an ambulance unable to move & more. We heard choppers heading out, & never ending sirens heading east. ENOUGH! If these are the men & women who, relate to this MAN (NOT BOY) who was killed (WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TAKE THE P.O.S GUN TO SHOOT HIM) Im on the side of the Police! If this is the behavior I dont, for 1 second, question the PO. There are BAD police who seem to be increasing in numbers, but any actions now taken by LEO are now justified! Al Sharpton needs to turn around! Get the National Guard in NOW & GET CONTROL by ANY means necessary!!! Was the officer wrong in shooting ten times? ABSOLUTELY! Was he correct in initially protecting himself, if the man was assaulting him & trying to get his weapon? YES. It couldve been handled differently, he shouldnt have continued shooting. If you want to discuss this intelligently, ok. BUT this is NOT how you respond! Destroying your own community?!?! This is only bringing negative attention & people who will now have no support or understanding! This isnt a race story, keep that out of it & investigate it properly.
