Flowers are planted in gardens to occupy them. Weeds INVADE gardens & seek to occupy them as well. The difference is that the weeds are aggressive & persistent while the flowers are passive & yielding. As beautiful as the flowers are, they need the protection of the gardener if they are to survive. TRUTH: Though we plant flowers in the lives of our children, failure to guard them will permit weeds to overwhelm the flowers.
