Folks, is it just me or do you have concerns about sending 3,000 boots to African nations where there is an Ebola outbreak? Sending American troops to Africa to combat Ebola is not a military mission that we should be undertaking, especially since the president takes every opportunity to downsize and cut military funding. If you feel the same, call or write your congressman or senator. Feel free to use my letter below. Congressman or Senator, I oppose sending the military to Africa to combat Ebola, and I will be voting November 4, 2014. Fighting disease is not the mission of our military, which has been downsized repeatedly and pink slipped to the point that it has reached pre World War II levels. If the president wants to spend money on humanitarian causes, he can start here at home by safe guarding Americans against the diseases coming across our own border. Illegals from nearly one hundred countries, including those of nations with Ebola outbreaks are entering the US from Mexico. I totally oppose sending 3,000 boots to Africa exposing Americans at 3,000 points to Ebola when those boots return stateside to their families and bases. Thank you,..Atilla
