Following concerns by local people 2 new crossings have been constructed in Moray Way North (near Regents Way) and Moray Way (near Link Road). The equipment is fully operational. The crossing on Moray Way North is still to have the lines done, so the lights are switched off until this is complete. The lines should be painted on Friday 17 October (weather depending) with the crossing being switched on either Friday afternoon or early next week. The bus stop in Moray Way North, will be relocated just east of the crossing, opposite the existing stop on the south side of the road. This is the best place for the stop given the proximity to the crossing, junctions and the other stop in terms of safety. A new hard standing will be provided in the grass verge to allow passengers to board and the shelter will also be relocated here. A works request has been raised to have this carried out, but a temporary stop will be provide in the meantime.
