Following on from the Gottlobs I posted yesterday, heres one that is a bit of an in-joke. Its no secrete that these stones are high up on the flaws and muddle charts, but I have NEVER seen anything like this one before. The core of this stone hasnt so much been flawed as mashed. It isnt agate with flaws in, it is flaws with just a hint of agate in it! I am still going to add it to my collection though as a curiosity and because that texture really is kind of unique! With the help of resin, I did manage to get an almost completely smooth surface . . . somehow!
