Following on to another members complaint to the BBC, I too have submitted a complaint to the BBC: UKIP have no MPs, do not control a council and yet Nigel Farage and co are constantly on TV. They still do not control a council and yet the way your results shows are reporting it, you would think they have the largest number of councillors. Dimbleby and Vine have been constantly saying how badly Labour are doing and yet they have gained over 300 seats and have trounced the Tories in London. The Greens have gained 16 seats and they have doubled their number of seats, becoming the official opposition in many councils. As a licence payer I do not pay my licence to listen to Tory and UKIP propaganda. The coverage and hype given to UKIP, while not critically assessing its policies, which even a lot of those who support UKIP disagree with is shocking. The Greens however, have a lot of general support for their policies (as shown by VoteforPolicies for example), yet get minimal coverage. As a result, UKIP get legitimised by the public broadcaster, whereas the Greens do not. This is despicable, and has given UKIP a free advertising platform. If you give one minor party a free advertising platform, give it to all. Especially to ones with legitimate power, rather than a large scattering of council seats.
