Following up Suri Kinzbrunners post about verses, I wanted to ask: Who is your favorite Biblical and/or Quranic personality, and why? For me, it is David. In my opinion, he is the consummate Protagonist. Talented, capable, deeply passionate, inspirational, and utterly human. A Warrior and a Poet; a King and a Musician. Compassionate but firm; powerful but vulnerable. Flawed – and yet capable of redemption. And aside from all that pomp – he just seems like an awesome sorta dude :)
