Food Items Needed for Yule Baskets Our Neighbor is now accepting food items for Christmas baskets. Volunteers have registered 294 families consisting of 536 children though the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. Each family will receive a food box and each child will have gifts of clothing and toys through the adoption program. Angels can be adopted from Citizens Bank, Huntington Bank, Progressive Bank, United Bank, Walmart, Jane Lew All Star Foods, Robins Nest, 2nd and Center Cafe, Curves, Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital, Broad Street United Methodist Church, Saint Boniface Catholic Church, Saint Matthews United Methodist Church, Saint Patricks United Methodist Church, Saint Pauls Episcopal Church, Stonecoal United Methodist Church, Valley Chapel United Methodist Church, Victory Assembly Church of God and Rev. Paul Thompson. Food items needed are: stuffing mix, instant potatoes, cranberry sauce, canned milk, fruit cocktail, jello, 5-pounds of flour, pumpkin pie mix and gravy packets. These food items are needed or a county of those items at Our Neighbor by Tuesday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m. This allows time for the food committee to order what may still be needed.
