Food: a necessity in our physical, temporary & earthly living; fire: a tool to aid our daily bodily nutrition, but can also be a tool for arson. We surely dont have to cook all our food to survive. Fresh fruits & vegetables are even more nutritious; but eating can be more delicious if we cook. Faith: a necessity in our spiritual, permanent & divine/transcendental living (which we have invited to share with God); our Christian community (church, religious society, association, assembly, movement, etc. whatever we call them -- groups): a tool or vehicle in practising our faith that nourish our spiritual living, but can also be a tool for doctrinal, societal & political divisions, contempt, marginalisation, indifference, conflicts, etc. We surely dont need to belong to a religious group in order to attain salvation which is for all people of good will. True practice of faith must be internally sincere which naturally manifests itself externally (external practices & rituals); or else hypocritical. However, journeying in pilgrim with a group can surely help better by sharing & helping one another with all the burdens, hardships & obstacles that the journey brings. Be proud for the group you belong; thank God for others belonging in other groups (no competition: very distructive); we are all have ONE DESTINATION -- HEAVEN!
