~Food for thought~ Training hard but not getting the gains you think you deserve. How closely are you looking at your nutrition?? Strength gains & lean body composition both have a direct relationship with how healthy your immune function is. Simply think about it if your body is constantly at work to detoxify all the chemically laden processed foods, it only has so much ability to also repair the body from combat (training). So my tip is to, if you are trying to put on muscle, stop filling the body with junk food for the sake of increasing calories. Try consuming more nutrient dense foods & choosing healthy fats such as coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, organic butter and avocado. If weight loss/lean body composition is your goal then this should be a no brainer, embrace all the natural foods on offer & try cutting out inflammatory foods such as bread & dairy.
