For 15 years Kodi was my constant companion. On March 27, while at the beach in Yachats celebrating our 10th Anniversary, Kodi made it clear to Jase and I that he was ready to travel on. The grieving process has been a tough one for me. This week we came back to Yachats for the first time since our Anniversary. Kodi LOVED the beach. The trips to the beach always included him and he was always the center of attention. Initially it was very emotional for me to be here - I had to walk through fire so to speak. But then a radio announcer out of the blue told a story that resulted in me asking the question, What would Kodi want? And I knew instantly: he would want us to LIVE fully and experience JOY, laughter, and smiles at the beach. Just like we always did with him. Thank you Kodi for always reminding me what is most important in life. ❤️
