So we shut down the government, delayed paying hundreds of thousands of government workers, denied vital services to millions, and are risking the economic health of the world over $300 per family. We lost $20 billion in Economic activity over a fine of $300 per family making over $30 , 000 a year... We have eliminated preexisting conditions, capped yearly out of pocket expenses to under $7000 a year, lowered premiums for millions of people and in exchange we are asking people who do not pay into the system to pay a penalty of under $300 per family power year. From a fiscal conservative or fiscally responsible standpoint, this seems like a small price to pay. Am I missing something here?
