For 20 years, people have been asking me what I do for a living. And when I try to explain, I typically get met by some variation of an uncomprehending blank stare followed by a polite oh, how nice. Which is understandable as I sometimes have trouble comprehending it myself. Here now, finally, is a spot-on vignette of what I do.
