First season of Treme is MAGIC. Second is total crap. Third is meh., final one is decent. Lots of cast, crew & other elements from The Wire in Season 1, and it shows. The actor below is Clarke Peters, (Englewood, NJ in the HOUSE yo! Or the street! Whatevuh!). They cross all lines of income, descent & tribe and examine what Katrina did to the entire place. What it did to everyone. Its a wee-bit lefty, but so well put together its completely tolerable. Sometimes it even flips things over (see: Nagin) which of course is what great writings supposed to do. So bear with it. The Big Chief, shown here, is the symbol of the very beating heart of New Orleans. I dont know how many people could have pulled it off. Peters does.
