For Immediate Release November 22, 2014 Giving thanks even in difficult times! Improving the quality of life for Bahamian families across the archipelago remains a priority for the Democratic National Alliance. In recent years difficult times have made it near impossible for the less fortunate among us to afford even the necessities of life. Despite the challenges, we as a people still have much to be grateful for. With that in mind and with Thanksgiving Day fast approaching, the Grand Bahama Arm of the DNA thought it fitting to reach out to the scores of families needing such help. Some three hundred (300) persons are expected to join with us at the Thanksgiving Luncheon which will be held on Saturday 22nd November, 2014 at the Lucyan Lodge Hall on East Sunrise Highway. (across from the former McDonalds) We, in the DNA believe that such small acts of kindness to those in need help build our communities and foster a sense of oneness and unity among our people while filling the very basic need for food.
