For Iraqi refugees--Truck of supplies and collection point details: Greenhouse bookstore is a collection point for the shoeboxes and for supplies for general basic needs of the refugees in southeast Turkey. A truck is planned to depart (we hope full) to the refugees in the Southeast Turkey on Saturday the 20th of December.. You may deliver your items to Greenhouse that youd like to donate by 18th December. wed be pleased to receive donations for the following items: MOST NEEDED ITEMS: - Baby formula ages 1,2,3,4 but especially 1. They be ordered from this site e-bebek/ for half the price of buying it at stores - next day delivery - Disposable diapers sizes 2,3,4,5 - Womens pads - Educational games and toys for children. - School/craft supplies, pens, pencils, notebooks, crayons, scissors, childrens books English, Kurdish - no Turkish they dont know Turkish but some have studied English in Iraq. OTHER ITEMS TO DONATE: - Blankets - Carpets - clean - Winter clothing especially coats - please be sure the clothing is in good condition and clean. Many of the refugees are washing clothing in large plastic tubs and do not have the means to repair even a small tear in clothing. Please separate mens, -Womens and children if possible. Clothes seem not to be as urgent as last time, but it is expected that more refugees will come to this camp soon and we dont know the needs of those people that will come new. - Shoes - please put them in a plastic bag like from Bim or Şok with the size written on the outside of the bag.
