For Sale. “LUCKY LADY” Making the heartbreaking decision to part with my beautiful Lucky, through absolutely no fault of her own. Lucky is a beautiful 15.1 chestnut Welsh D X. At 17 years old, she certainly doesnt act her age and is full of life and needs a home where she will be regularly exercised and absolutely adored. She is so loving and such a character, I am looking for a 5* home where she will stay fairly locally so I could visit! Lucky has taught me everything I know about horses, having taken me showing, show jumping, cross country, hunting with the West and North Norfolk Hunts, and to Pony Club camps, rallies and teams for the Bloom Cup and Area show jumping and also qualifying for Trailblazers Championships. I have jumped Lucky up to 90cm when competing but she has spent the last two years in a more chilled environment, competing locally occasionally. Lucky is so fast against the clock and has brought home countless 1st place ribbons when out jumping, she just loves to please. She is a brilliantly quick and bold all rounder with a lovely proud Hackney style pace and will work nicely in an outline; her schooling is good but she really is a little jumping machine and I always ride her in a snaffle. She is not a novice ride but is never ever nasty, she doesnt kick/bite/bolt/rear and I trust her 100%, having ridden her down the A10 with lorries and motorbikes and she is not at all bothered. She has not been clipped but is brilliant for the farrier and loads well onto a trailer. She really is a one in a million horse and will never fail to put a smile on your face. She is happy to live out or in and is a sturdy and strong horse, who is particularly low maintenance, never having weight/feet issues etc. She is currently barefoot but when in more work she has worn a full set or front shoes at least. Lucky would suit a confident teen for pony clubbing, or a mother/daughter share, as she is an ideal PC/Hunting pony and just as fun to hack too. I want to find her a home where she won’t be passed from pillar to post and she will be adored just as much as she always has been and deserves to be.
