For all my out of town family members. I am reposting this from my Sisters page. Pamela J Wilson Update on Uncle Bob, I have been going to some of his Drs. appts, to keep up on meds. Uncle Bob has had some short term memory problems as we have all noticed for a while now. The Doctor saw him last week as he began sleeping and waking at odd times, he told us that Uncle Bob and all of us thru our lives have tini tiny little strokes at the very tip of our minds, as we get older they begin to break the small strings of a rope in our brain, so Uncle Bob had one rope snap allowing the time area of his brain to drop in ability. For example I see him 3 days a week he ask me each day when School starts, as I work at School, this is October . He starting putting things away and loosing them, like the telephone base charger , last time Aunt Janice was Hospitalized. So I believe many ropes are on the verge of snapping. He loves to tell stories about the Navy , deer, and old times. He has conjestive heart failure, diabetes and kidney failure, but loves to be busy! He falls on a regular basis because he is stubborn and refuses to use a cane. If anyone comes near Lake Placid I am sure he would love to see you! Give a call, send him a note, a picture he remembers you all and dearly misses his sisters and brothers, who have past or live far away, I have seen him cry about them. We are his family in these last months, he is feeling very alone and afraid. (I know many of you do but an update anyways) Please pass the word.
