For all of our Acadian Cousins and Friends: Please check out the World Acadian Congress website cma2014. The official events occur August 8 through 24, 2014. Kat and I would like to open up the house to any family/friends who cannot day trip to the activities from their own homes and need a place to stay convenient to the festivities. We have 3 bedrooms available, with 1 queen size, and three twin beds. There is plenty of room for parking campers, RVs, or raising tents for whomever has them. We have a very large kitchen for preparing your own food/coffee as desired, and a large living area for gathering and visiting. The well at the house is widely known for especially delicious drinking water, and plenty of it. Full Disclosure: Three very sweet and friendly felines are in residence, and were making progress in catching up with repairs and improvements. Venues for most activities are less than an hour from the house by car. The Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle is less than 20 minutes by car, and Downtown Caribou 10 minutes.
