For all of you amature astronomers, stargazers, and hopeless romantics out there, tonight between 2 a.m. and dawn is suppose to be the best time to view the perseid meteor shower. During this shower you may be able to see as many as 100 shooting stars per hour. No special equipment is needed to view the show so if the sky clears up just throw down a blanket and look at the north eastern part of the sky. The darker the area you are in will also be beneficial so go out into the country away from the lights to get the best effect!
