For all of you who showed interest in my status earlier where I announced that I would be meeting up with my birth mother for the first time, well unfortunately that meeting will not be happening. The Catholic care society got in touch with me earlier this week and informed me that my birth mother no longer wished to meet up. The Society informed me that this was not uncommon. once a birth mother finds that their child is alive, had a good up-bringing and was doing well, that is all they needed to know. It appears that this may be the case with my Mother. I can fully understand this and accept this. Most of the missing pieces are in place just one piece missing, if it happens in the future great, if not. Life continues. Thanks for your interest and support
