For all the antis: If you dont like it, then dont hunt. What people do not understand is that harvesting wildlife is imperative to the balance of the ecosystem. In order for wildlife to thrive, a certain amount must be harvested otherwise they will become overpopulated and die of disease and starvation. Those that dont die will move to rural and populated areas which is a huge public safety issue. This is all proven through scientific and statistic evidence. Hunters alone pay for the conservation of forests and meadows with the fees paid for hunting licenses and tags. There is no one that cares more about animals than hunters. Aside from that, humans have hunted since the beginning of time. Its our tradition, our instinct. Its a way for us to feed our families, those of us that use dogs (which is the safest and most efficient way to manage wildlife.) You prefer to get your meat from the grocery store-- we prefer to earn ours. By all means if you dont want to hunt, dont. But dont fight to take away something that you dont understand. If you love animals, let us do what we do, and be thankful for what were blessed to have-- because without us, you wouldnt.
