For anyone taking Part IV at Life University, be sure to pack an awesome lunch and wear a crazy amount of layers. I had to report at 8:00 this morning, which means my group finished around 11:30. We then had to sit locked in room C1 until 5:30 waiting for not only all other groups at Life to finish, but for the testing centers in California to have all groups started. With enough layers of clothing, you should be able to fashion a comfortable nest to sleep in, and with a hefty lunch sack, you should have enough things to keep you occupied, as you are not allowed to bring any reading materials, toys, games, writing implements, etc. One ingenious group of test candidates conspired to bring red Solo cups. One person brought a sleeve and divvied them up amongst the group. Then people contributed snacks to and bottle caps to play pong. Just saying, six hours locked up with nothing to do but talk about how NBCE needs to standardize their concept of standardization is not the most useful way to spend a day.
