For as long as I can remember, decades, Ive passed by the Home Sweet Home Mission on Oakland, Ave. in Bloomington. I always pause my mind and think about the folks in there. I am sure a lot of good, successful people have passed through there when their lives hit some bumps. The Mission is way behind on food and turkey donations for Thanksgiving this year, so, today, for the first time in my life I decided to offer more than just my prayers. I dropped off 5 turkeys for the cause. I am blessed to figure this out and be able to do it. They need more food than just turkeys too (hint). For I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger and you invited me into your home. Matthew 25:35 I chose 5 turkeys for a reason. One from me, one for my Haley, one for my Justin, one for all my family (Larsons and Howards) and one for all the wonderful friends I have! Holliday Season started for me today! I just hope the Bears dont play like turkeys tomorrow!
