The rain enables the earth to cultivate plants and trees. How ever much the earth is dry desolate when God sends the rain it becomes fertile. Likewise your life which looks like a desolate wilderness, God sends His word to make it fertile. He turneth the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into watersprings. And there he maketh the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation; And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase. He blesseth them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffereth not their cattle to decrease.(Ps 107:35-38). What you are supposed to do to convert the dry ground in to a land of fertile soil? You must acknowledge the word of God in your heart. The sower soweth the word.(Mk 4:14). And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.(Mk 4:20). God blesses a man only through his word. The word of God is like a mirror. As we read the word of God it reflects our situation. This word of God enriches our spiritual life. And also tell us the status of our spiritual life. In addition it shows as the ways and means for our prosperity. When Jesus was living in this word, the word of God flowed from His mouth like rain. Who ever accepted the same their lives immediately changed and sprouted. The centurion accepts the word of God in fullness. So he received the miracle. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.(Mat 8:13). Right now kneel down and with reverence speak to God. Tell Him God let your word descend upon me now and remove my sorrows and make me prosper. Then His word will flow towards you like a rain and make your life prosper. The word of God which goes forth from his mouth will never return to Him empty. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.(Isa 55:11). And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.(Gen 28:15). The word of God came to Jacob like snow. And it never returned empty. Even though Jacob receives the word of God, still he had to face many battles, opposition and failures. First he was suffering lonely. He served as slaves in his own uncle house. He met with many hurdles and sufferings. All his sufferings made him to meditate the word of God and he became more dependent on God. Had he not met with such calamities he would not have depended on God. Because of this he fought with God through prayer and his faith in word of God improved. When you face with crisis or suffering do not look at them or even think about them. Instead meditate upon the word of God. Then you will realize the word of God fulfilling in your life. In the life of Jacob, the word of God fulfilled in its fullness. Jacob describes the blessings he received from God as follows. nd Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the LORD which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee: I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands.(Gen 32:9-10). Are you depressed that the word of God is not mineralized in your life. Believe that the word of God never return empty. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.(Hab 2:3). Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. – Psalms 105:19.
