“For in the gospel a righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’” ~Romans 1:17 A righteousness through faith: it is a concept that is a stumbling block for many different people groups. Some would say that the idea that we can be righteous through faith is easy believism. It is not fair that people who have lived a sinful life should receive salvation merely through faith in Jesus Christ. Most would say that something more must be required.
