For long - term full loan. Would love him to stay at current yard in Droitwich, Worcestershire but can be moved if home is vetted throughout and approved and not hours away. TUXEDOMOON or formally known as Freddie is a 9year old, 15.3hh, TB gelding. Sire is Terimon who won half a million on the flat and stud fee is 1.5k alone. Although Freddie has never raced nor to our knowledge ever been trained to race. Freddie has evented unaff upto 90. I was planning to register us BE this year but as my GCSEs and future plans are forcing this loan (we cant bring ourselves to sell him) I cannot. Ive done three events on Fred, two at 80 and the last at 90. His DR was improving with every time out going from 43.2% at our first event to now at the latest 37.5% (would have been 35.5% if I hadnt have gone wrong in the test!!) and I have no doubt hell be in the 20s when back out - with a few more runs 90 I was then going to move to 100 with him as I think hed take to it easily, but more for myself is why weve started small, not for him! SJ he is bold and careful. XC he is a machine, a point and go horse. Very bold and very quick - his favourite and mine! Fred has done lots of unaff SJ at 90cm/1m, he has done many hunter trials also around the 1m mark again. I hunted him when I first got him and he was super, not the type of horse who wants to have a slow canter at the back, he wants to be near the front in full gallop being pointed at the hedges, rails, walls, ditches etc. He did lots of hunting with his old owner also. Well schooled on the flat, has a super extended trot and has mastered flying changes, always working in a consistent outline. Jumping courses of 1m10 - 1m15 at home, hes not a spooky type and isnt fussed by fillers etc. however does take confidence from the rider, so if youre unsure about something, quite understandably he will be too!! Brilliant to hack, I do always normally hack alone but is fine with company also. Freddie has the most amazing temperment, hes like a big dog. Will groom you while you groom him, will pick the brushes up and throw them at you, will follow you round the field when poo picking, will unzip your coats, lick your hair or grab your hood and play - weve never met a horse with such an incredible kind caring temperament as this horse. Always ridden in a simple snaffle, doesnt really ever pull, even XC I can ride him round one handed - hes mega easy although I did hunt him in a gag last year on the second ring (I dont think that was needed however but just incase). He will stand in the lorry all day when eventing, we re-load him 2-3 times when eventing and he will just happily walk up and stand in there for hours alone, you dont hear a peep out of him in the lorry. He is good to clip, catch, shoe etc. He is stabled 24/7 in winter with the walker, riding and indoor turnout once a week or so and is fine, but is then out 24/7 in the summer. Gets on with mares or geldings, not a dominant type at all but a playful I love everyone type. He was my proper first horse, in which we bought him when I was 14years old and he looked after me so well and was very forgiving with me - always tries his heart out for you. As a TB sometimes he has days where he wants to go a million miles an hour and can be very forward/excitable so a knowledgable experienced rider is a must. Any questions feel free to ask, Ill be as honest as I can! Homes will be vetted throughout and I would really love potential loaners to try him various times before anything further is arranged. I dont have the time for him and hes too good to be wasted in the field or having the odd hack. Freddies only downfall is he does have a few sarcoids between his back legs and a single melanoma under his tail (typical grey) but these have never caused a problem so are left alone and are forgotten about, they dont effect him in anyway at all and arent very noticeable. When we first bought Fred he also had very bad feet (the walls being weak and very cracked). We took him down to B and W equine to X-Ray his hooves to make sure there was nothing underlying for our own peace of mind which proved he had completely normal hooves, just very weak ones. Over the time weve had him we have always been careful with his hooves (oiling them daily with corner crescent cream and Kevin bacon oil, and including lots of biotin in his diet) which have changed his feet completely. They are now much stronger and he keeps his shoes on but will need these products to continue to be applied to keep his hooves strong and healthy. Loan would be for the foreseeable future as I am revising and working this year for my GCSEs currently and then Im off to Hartpury college full time next year. Would love someone who wants to hunt this season or go out and have fun, hes a great competition horse so Id love him to carry on competing. Hes done so much for me, giving me confidence out competing, cheering me up after a rubbish day and keeping me safe even when I muck up, I really dont want to loan him out so please no time wasters as this is really difficult but I need to concentrate on my exams for the future and then my future plans. He has been off work for around 5weeks (due to again me having no time etc) so I am currently trying to bring him back into work, we are just starting to trot him again now but he should be back in full work by next weekend. The last time he went out competing was the 12th July 2014 for Off-church BE90, so has had the whole of August off competing, however I think taken back out hell know his job and be egar to please as usual. Please dont hesitate to message me, ask any questions or request any photos etc. I also have plenty of videos of him eventing, XC training, flatwork, SJ training etc. so just ask, Ill be as honest as I can with any questions! Thank you
