For many, many years I looked down my nose at WWF/WWE wrestling - TopicsExpress

For many, many years I looked down my nose at WWF/WWE wrestling because I approached it from the point of view of it relating to sports, not entertainment. Even after realizing that it was a Stunt show with Drama and Comedy wrapped up in the guise of being a sport, I still found it too silly...like some violent soap opera for the weak minded. I had a room mate named Todd who really liked wrestling, and I would watch it with him. Todds a special guy. Hes got some form of mental abnormality which leaves him quite childlike in some ways, and lacking in some common sense, but he has a dear heart and a giving spirit. As I watched wrestling with him I came to understand why they had put it on SyFy, there is a Superhero like aspect to it, with good guys and bad guys, and epic battles. Then reading interviews with people like Brock Lesnar, who I was introduced to through the UFC, I came to understand even more about what the WWE had become for the people in it, and what it meant to the people who enjoy it...so this video really doesnt surprise me at all. I cant say that I would be a regular viewer of the shows, but I do admire the people involved and dont think lowly of it as an entertainment form...Good on ya WWE!
